Getting Started
To get started with CastMessage, follow these steps:
Create an Account
Visit the registration page to sign up for an account.
Fill in your details as a representative of the account, including your name, email address, and password. Make sure to use a strong password for security. Enter a phone number we can contact you on, in case of any issues. Your date of birth, timezone and country are also required to help us provide you with the best service possible.
We recommend using a business email address for your account. This will help us verify your identity and provide you with better support.
We will need your physical address, an emergency address and billing address to comply with regulations. This information is required to send messages on your behalf.
Select your subscription plan and enter your payment details. You can choose from various plans based on your needs. You will get credits every month based on the plan you choose. You can also purchase additional credits if needed.
Once you have completed the registration process, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to verify your account.
Verify Your Email
Check your inbox for a verification email and click the link to activate your account.
Approval Process
Once you have verified your email, your account will be reviewed by our team. This process usually takes up to an hour. You will receive an email notification once your account is approved. If you have any questions, please contact us. This is part of our compliance with the KYB (Know Your Business) regulations.
Sending Messages
Our platform offers multiple ways to send messages. You can send individual messages, bulk messages to groups, or set up automated campaigns. Here's a breakdown of our messaging features:
Single Messages
Send quick, one-off messages to individual contacts directly from the dashboard. You can include personalized fields like the recipient's name, company, or any custom field you've set up. Messages can be sent immediately or scheduled for later delivery.
Bulk Messaging
Send the same message to multiple recipients at once. You can select specific groups, filter contacts based on tags or custom fields, and even exclude certain contacts from your bulk sends. Our system automatically handles opt-outs and ensures compliance with messaging regulations.
Templates
Save time by creating message templates for frequently sent communications. Templates can include dynamic fields that automatically populate with recipient information. You can categorize templates and share them across your team.
Advanced Features
Take advantage of features like message preview, character count, link shortening, and emoji support. You can also track delivery status, open rates, and link clicks for each message sent. Our platform supports Unicode characters, allowing you to send messages in multiple languages.
Importing Contacts
To send messages, you'll need to import your contacts. Follow these steps:
Prepare Your File
Save your contacts in a CSV file with columns for name, country, number, email, address, city, postcode, dob, custom1, custom2, custom3, custom4, custom5, custom6, custom7, custom8 and consent. The consent column should be a boolean value of 1 or 0. The first row of the CSV file should contain the column headers. Do not change the first row of the CSV file.
Upload the File
Go to the Contacts section, click Import Contacts, and upload your CSV file.
Assign to Group
Once you have uploaded the file, and before you click upload, you can select a group to assign the contacts to.
Confirm
Review the data and click Confirm to complete the import.
